New journey in our house!

As most of you know my husband and I have twin 3 year olds, which is the biggest blessing of our lives!

As you can imagine, with age comes attitudes! There are a few things that have become challenging in our home... bedtime and picking up toys.

So in an effort to add an incentive to do these things we have decided it is time for a "chore list" for each of the girls!

We included normal things like brush teeth and feed the fish which are two of their favorite things to do.  And we added in help with laundry, which they do already. (They carry their folded clothes to their room... I am not a slave driver LOL) And we made sure that "Pick up toys" and "In bed by 9pm" are on the list also.

Now, I'm sure you are wondering what they get for doing their chores...

As long as they have 25/35 stickers each week (sometimes we are not home on the weekends and we don't do their laundry everyday) they get $.25 to put in their piggy bank and they get to select one "prize" out of our new Chores Reward Bin.

I went to the Dollar Store and got a bunch of cute little party favor toys that interested the girls and put them in a shoe box sized bin.  I got things like mini slinkys, crazy straws, ring pops, little spinner tops, rubber dinosaurs, candy bracelets, and a few other things.

I wanted to share this because I know a lot of other moms who are struggling with similar things and maybe this would work for you too!
